What’s that flashing?

It’s probably happened to everyone.  Hell, I have done it myself but this guy took it to a new level.  What am I talking about?

Repushing elevator buttons

This started off like any other wait for an elevator.  As I walk up to the elevator, I see a gentleman approaching me who obviously is going to use the elevators as well.  I reach out and push the UP button as he approaches and wait.  When he gets next to me, he reaches out and pushes the already pushed and BRIGHT green button again.  OK, not a big deal.  A lot of people do that when they come up, repush the button even though it’s lit and they witness someone push it.  Here’s the kicker.  The elevator arrives, I get in first, and seeing how 1) I was first to get in and 2) am wearing my badge which clearly shows I am employed for the company that owns the building, I politely ask him which floor and push the appropriate button.  From the other side of the car (2 control panels, 1 on each side), he REPUSHES THE LIT BUTTON FOR THE FLOOR I JUST PUSHED AND HAD ASKED HIM ABOUT! WTF!

At this point I actually am starting to doubt my button pushing skills but realize that can’t be it since Princess Leia says I push her buttons all the time (insert snarky/sexual innuendo joke here).  He departs on his floor and I go to mine wondering to myself about what runs through peoples head sometimes.  I’m not even sure you can qualify this as bad manners, rudeness or something else.  How about just something that pissed me off at the time.

Now for my semi-regular YouTube clip.  This week some friends and I started reliving the old days of the Michael Jordan era.  We religiously watched all Bulls games and even made an impromptu trip to Chicago after the 1993 championship for the celebration in Grant Park.  This led me to the clips below of MJ and the rest of the 1992 Dream Team.  Best part of first clip is Sir Charles when asked about Angola.  The second clip is the total dominance of Angola.
