Minoc
Although it wasn’t a run in with a true Minoc but it was a memorable experience. On a side note, this was one of my favorite scenes from “Empire Strikes Back”. The Han/Leia love story hits its peak with the Kiss and the Minoc sequence forces outr heroes from the “cave” straight towards the Empire.
Which brings us to my experience. Taking a much needed day off from fighting the Empire (and troubleshooting computer issues) I lay in bed, sleeping in for once. With an empty house and Xbox awaiting, I roll over and suddenly hear a scraping noise outside my bedroom window. Now, I am not a paranoid type or constantly fearful of someone trying to break in to my house, but this noise caused me some… concern? Wind? Person? Animal? No my friends, it was… the Rose of Sharon my wife had decided to put outside the window to deter “bad guys” from breaking in. Now, not only can you not get into the window because of the overgrown bush but its long branches and bulbs are scraping against the window.
So much for my sleep but at least I got some Xbox time!
